About
Hamber Park is a remote wilderness area within one of the world's largest blocks of protected areas, designated as part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage Site. It offers a rustic campground with a pit toilet and bear cache at the east end of Fortress Lake, with traditional campsites also identifiable along the north shore. Access to lake shore features is primarily by renting a boat from the fishing camp, though an old trail is being re-opened.
