These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Milemark mobile app and the milemark.camp website (the “Service”), operated by 0x Code Limited (“Milemark,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
The Service
Milemark is a free directory that helps you discover campgrounds and view details such as location, amenities, phone number, and website. It’s provided for informational purposes to help you find and contact campgrounds. Milemark does not handle reservations or payments.
Accuracy of information
Campground information — including data sourced from OpenStreetMap — may be incomplete, out of date, or inaccurate, and can change without notice. Always confirm details directly with the campground (for example, by calling ahead) before relying on them. We don’t guarantee the availability, pricing, amenities, access, conditions, or safety of any listed site.
Your account
You can use Milemark as a guest. If you create an account through Apple or Google sign-in, you’re responsible for the activity under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Reviews and user content
You keep ownership of the reviews and other content you submit. By submitting content, you grant Milemark a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it within the Service. You’re responsible for what you post, and you agree not to submit content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or abusive. We may remove content or limit accounts that violate these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-export data except as expressly permitted.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Misrepresent yourself or impersonate others.
Third-party services
The Service links to and integrates third-party services (such as Apple Maps, Google Maps, and OpenStreetMap data). We’re not responsible for third-party services or content, which are governed by their own terms.
Intellectual property
The Milemark name, logo, and app are owned by 0x Code Limited. Campground data from OpenStreetMap is © OpenStreetMap contributors and is available under the Open Database License.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 0x Code Limited will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including reliance on campground information.
Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which 0x Code Limited operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
