About
Smelt Bay Provincial Park is the only provincial campground on Cortes Island, offering 22 spacious campsites in a wooded setting overlooking the bay. The park features a beautiful beach known for capelin fish spawning, attracting diverse marine life. The beach is backed by mounds believed to be of Coast Salish First Nations origin.
