Kakwa Park showcases ice-clad mountains, extensive alpine meadows and a section of the Continental Divide, featuring Kakwa Lake, Mount Sir Alexander, and Mount Ida. The park offers opportunities for camping, hiking, fishing, and horseback riding in the summer, and snowmobiling and wilderness ski tours in the winter. Its diverse species offer excellent wildlife viewing and photographic potential.
